Omega 3000 - New Security Features
Current Omega 3000 provides security via the 'Rights of Screen Access Menu' by defining access for each user Role. The Terminal Manager could change the access levels of any Role using the V (View), D (Delete) and
M (Modify) commands. If the Role was flagged “Y (Yes)” the user had the right to D (Delete), M (Modify), V (View) with complete access.
Security functionality has been enhanced by providing a view only PERSONNEL screen indicated by Action “V (View)”. Within the new feature, new PERSONNEL screens for each functional Role has been added. These Roles include:
Mgr (Manager), Acc (Accountant), Spv (Supervisor), Egr (Engineer),
Dsp (Dispatcher), Grd (Guard),
Drv (Driver), Ctr (Contractor), Ldr (Loader), Vst (Visitor)
Access levels can now only be changed in the individual PERSONNEL screen, using the commands V (View), D (Delete), M (Modify). The User is now restricted and can only access certain PERSONNEL screens as defined by the Terminal Manager. The Terminal Manager retains complete control over the Rights Of Screen Access Menu for individual user Roles.
