Complete 'End to End' Testing

DKI has been asked to supply an Omega 3000 Testbed system to a client in Malaysia for installation in a technology centre within Cyberjaya. This is the first project of its kind for DKI and will enable our client to carry out complete end to end testing whenever they are considering making alterations to their ERP system, by allowing the simulation and analysis of the incoming and outgoing ERP messages.

The Testbed will also be utilised to test new systems, upgrades and releases, including patches, to ensure that no critical transactions will be impacted by the modifications. This will mean new DKI systems and upgrades can be introduced seamlessly after complete simulation. It will also permit isolated errors to be reproduced, diagnosed and documented in an isolated environment to allow for comprehensive solutions to be found.

Housed in an industrial 19” IT rack which includes the AccuLoad III Loading Controller, Rack Driver Interface, networking components and such options as additive injection and weighbridge head, the Testbed operates with an Omega 3000 system and allows the simulation of loading operations commonly performed on terminals which include DKI Terminal Automation Systems, such as road loading, top and bottom loading, in-truck, ratio and side stream blending, additive injection and weighbridge loading. It will help verify loading in a number of different scenarios found across actual loading sites and perform the functions normally performed on an Omega 3000 system by a dispatcher. The system is flexible enough to accommodate test configuration changes by the client.
