FlexSecure is a wireless compartment identification system designed to eliminate misconnection risks during multi-compartment tanker loading operations. In high-volume fuel and chemical terminals, incorrect loading connections can result in product cross-contamination, safety hazards, and costly operational losses. The system ensures that only the correct loading arm is connected to the designated tanker compartment before product transfer begins.
By integrating RFID verification with secure LoRa wireless transmission, it provides real-time validation to the controller or Terminal Automation System (TAS), automatically prohibiting loading when incorrect information is detected. Installed directly onto the existing API coupler of bottom loading arms, FlexSecure enables non-disruptive on-site upgrades by eliminating cable re-laying and avoiding operational shutdowns.
