Safety
With the Dixon Unit – there’s a feature which is Supervisor lock out on wet probes. This is important for your terminal to ensure the driver doesn’t continue loading the truck causing product overflowing at the Bay.
Unlike other existing competitor rack monitors, it will be able to provide you with a
• Compartment Overfill Event Report
• Interlock Trip Report
Remedial Action whenever you need to =>
You will be able to use these information to find out how many interlock trips you’ve had over the month and point up how many were earthing issues, overfills and air loss.
Armed with this information you’ll be able find out which are the poor performing trucks. (They can fix this issue before coming in next time in order to prevent any delays).
Why use our Dixon Unit as your 1st Choice
1. It’s got a good communication capability. We can talk to it and interrogate it. You’ll get to see the compartments has wet probes.
2. Without TAS you can communicate with it and when you do get an overfill/ earth overfill trip, we can tell you whether or not it was a probe or which compartment it was in. And we can record that and report that.
3. The DKI Dixon system is the only solution with an Ethernet connection. One of the criteria is to ensure that the tanker trucks are earthed when loading/unloading at the Bay. Current Product in the Market doesn’t tell us if there is an earthing issue, or if the trucks have wet probes or if there has been vapour air loss during Interlock trips. You’re limited by the equipment’s capabilities.
Immediate Payback
Causes of the interlock trips is a major concern because it can affect the safety of the ppl at the terminal.
By removing these interlock trips, you will effectively increase the uptime of your Load Gantry by up to 10%
