Just prior to Christmas 2021, Vivo Energy Kenya's (VEK) Mombasa Depot Omega 5000 Go Live took place. This is VEK's second Diamond Key International Group's Omega 5000 and VIVO energy's eleventh instance.

Vivo Energy is a Shell fuels reseller to a 15 African countries.

Mombasa Depot is VEK's second largest depot by daily throughput. Mombasa is Kenya's second largest city with a 3.6M population and major East Africa trade gateway.

At Mombasa Depot, Omega 5000 is integrated with:
Existing 4 x road tanker double sided Top Loading islands with Accuload 3.
Existing 1 x rail car double sided Top Loading island with TechnipFMC Microload.
Existing Avery weigbridge with DKI's Flexlinc HMI.
Existing additive tank and pump skids to Preset Controllers.
New TCP/IP interface to Product Tank Emerson Gauges.
New DKI installed PLC & Vega Level switch at existing Additive Tanks.

Key Customer Benefits identified:
User-friendly, easy to use, and available to VEK users from every Terminal Function. The previous TAS limited access to 5 users.
Faster Order scheduling using Omega 5000 pre-defined tanker/compartments.
Simplified road tanker filling process eliminated loading errors. Automated bay, arm and product identification removed loading arm and product loaded mismatch.
Existing additive tank and pumps skids integration enabled automatic additised and unadditised product loading. Omega 5000 product recipe management removed manual individual compartment recording.
Omega 5000 generated Stock Management, Daily Lifting and BOL reports including additive reports enabled automatic stock reconciliation at any time of day.
All Omega 5000 reports readily available to specific and wider VEK Mombasa Team.
Eliminated manual reports.
Omega5000 real time bayview road tanker loading improved dispatcher operational tracking and visibility.

In summary, VEK Operations Team found Omega 5000 delivered significant operational efficiency and effectiveness.
