New Kertapati Terminal is located in Palembang, capital city of South Sumatra province, Indonesia.

Palembang is the second largest city on Sumatra Island after Medan. It is strategically located, straddled along the main trunk highway connecting Northern and Southern Sumatra.

Built in 1991, the New Kertapati Terminal is part of Pertamina Marketing Operations Region (MOR) 2 which oversees the provinces of Jambi, South Sumatra, Bengkulu, Lampung and Bangka Belitung islands.

New Kertapati Terminal is pipeline fed via (old) Kertapati Terminal. Supply is via Medium Range (MR) vessels and via Pertamina TBBM Panjang Terminal, Lampung.

Average daily throughput is 6M+ litres per day including diesel, unleaded 88(Premium), unleaded 92 and biodiesel.

New Kertapati Terminal supplies fuel to Lahat, Linggau and Baturaja inland depots in addition to 96 retail stations, 12 wholesalers and 7 industrial diesel distributors within its immediate delivery envelope.

DKI's New Gantry System was successfully installed at New Kertapati Terminal in 2015. It comprised of:
Omega 5000
Omega Scada/PLC with interfaces to Pump VSD, MOV and ATG.
3 x Slimline Bottom Loading road tanker skids.
1 x Pipeline Transfer Skid to the rail loading gantry.

New Kertapati Terminal is a Gold award recipient for OperationalExcellence following its NGS upgrade.

Most important is New Kertapati Terminal's key role as a South Sumatra's uninterrupted fuel supply guarantor.
