Our oil major customer successfully implemented a Digitalisation Proof Of Concept (POC) initiative at its North Mindanao Import Terminal (NMIF), Philippines.

Diamond Key International Group's cloud based Omega Digitz was adopted as the POC platform to provide this digital business transformation.

Omega Digitz was connected via modbus directly to NMIF's existing DKI SCADA and Process Control PLC subsystem to deliver realtime data via OPC to our oil major's data lake. Please refer to attached system architecture.

For NMIF Omega Digitz, the following POC information is transmitted:
Tank product levels.
Tank Alarms.
Pump status.

This facilitates on-site inventory monitoring and facilitates supply chain planning and optimisation.

In addition, Omega Digitz is web browser based and does not require additional installation of a third-party app on the client computer.

Enabled NIMF operations to view the tank levels and alarms where Omega Digitz can be opened in any PC with browser, and mobile devices, whilst simultaneously viewed in Oil Major HQ.

The operations personnel can instantly access those information in real time within the oil major network's premises.

On the remote viewer's side, business planners can see the trend in product movement faster than before for them to make better informed supply chain decisions.

Omega Digitz has other features to offer such as email alerts when meter factors are tampered in Bay load controllers, reports generation for manual loading operations, which oil major is evaluating.

As a result, this successful POC enables DKI's oil major customer to verify and quantify the operational benefits within its business
